My kids use one sock, fill it with buttons (treasure), close it up with a ponytail holder, and pretend to be robbers. I found sock #612 (it seems) hiding behind a bookcase.
Should I be concerned that my kids are practicing for a life of crime?
You should not.
There are photos of me and my three little brothers playing cops and robbers (we always dressed like cowboys when we played it) and used real coins from the ‘coin jar’. Socks and pockets and bandanas. We loved being the robbers….
And we were the kids of a police man! LOL.
