Many thanks to Ignatius Insight Scoop for providing the link to this wonderful article from Touchstone Magazine entitled, “Children of the Reformation: A Short and Surprising History of Protestantism and Contraception.” Most people I have the opportunity to discuss these sorts of issues with have absolutely no idea that the ENTIRE Christian Church — Catholic … [Read more…]
I wish I had their creativity. I really do. Today was an “everybody go outside so Mommy can clean” sort of day. Thank God, they took Marie out with them, and I was able to catch up on some serious laundry without having little ones constantly underfoot. Sorry… you wouldn’t want me to call you sweetie, now would you? (but who could resist with that face?) Here’s to my sweet, wonderful little boy who is now FIVE years old! Five years old and you keep us in stitches. No matter what the situation, we can count on you to make a statement … [Read more…]
…a fantastic article on Blessed Mother Teresa, and how she lived a life of joy in spite of feeling abandonned by God for 50 years. I know I’ve said this before, but I will say again how THANKFUL I am… not that she went through such a dark night… but that she is left as … [Read more…]
