  1. Happy, Blessed Easter!

This comment was hilarious, “She morphed into this crazed, super-strong octopus that was able to wriggle out of any hold I tried to put her in.”

Hope your “crazed, super-strong octopus” feels well, soon!

  2. Thank you… and I hope she feels better soon too! (I am one tired Mommy… and truth be told, I don’t suffer well)

It was funny to write about, but not fun to experience. The people at my parish are WONDERFUL, however, and are quick to praise the kids when they do well, and even quicker to extend grace when they don’t.

    GOD BLESS THEM ALL!

  3. This sounds like my 3yo Ellie, although my challenge this Sunday was our 1yo boy, Ewan. He is getting so strong now and can walk. After about twenty minutes of sitting he just wants to get down and play. We do have nursery care normally (not on Easter), so we try and keep him on our laps till the homily and after that walk him around in the back. If that doesn’t work, then we take him to the nursery and one of us stays with him, because it’s not really set up for babies (it’s a teacher’s lounge in a middle school cafeteria). Glad you all made it to Mass and survived to tell the tale! Happy Easter and best wishes for complete recovery!
