I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth. I took time off to celebrate my birthday (Happy Birthday to me!) and enjoy time with my parents, who I don’t get to see nearly as often as I’d like to…. the hazards of living 10+ hours away.
I am now finishing up the project most pressing at the moment — submitting my children’s final grades to our accountability group… which I am NOT happy with at the moment (the group, that is, not my children’s grades, which are just fine!)
So, I will leave you with a “Grace-ism” (that’s the sweet little girl in the picture above)
Me: [in my best cheerleader voice] Alright, everyone! Let’s get this house straightened up before Grandma and Papa get here! We can do this quickly, right?
Grace: {very enthusiastically] You’re right, Mommy!!!!
Me: [humbled and pleased] Wow, sweetie! Thank you so much for that encouragement!
Grace: [sounding like a bored 30-yr old] Well, it seemed like you needed that.

How’s Joseph doing?
He’s doing great! Thank you for asking! I think he’s up to… um… about 22 lbs or so. He’s HUGE!

22 lbs! good job mama! I’m excited to see what Leo weighs in a few weeks when he goes for his 6 months. He’s getting chunky and has a nice double chin going.
