OK, I am soooooooooo late for this one (that’s what happens when you don’t get on the computer!), but Betty Beguiles asked people to post pictures of their wedding dress and say a little something about them.
My mom came down to South Carolina to help me look for a dress. I was pretty sure I wanted something plain and simple. Nothing fancy. Nothing complicated. I’m not a “frou-frou”y kind of person.
We went to the first bridal shop and the woman dragged out this dress that I just wanted to laugh at. Are you serious? It was everything I was NOT looking for in a dress; however, as the time went on, and more dresses were tried on, my mom and I both thought it was so funny that the dress I finally picked out was the one I had shunned at the beginning….
We got married in 1996… well before digital cameras… so you’ll have to excuse the scanned image.

What did YOUR dress look like?
This is so pretty! I have to admit that I like the dresses from the nineties and before so much more than the modern style. I have been caught off guard many times by a wedding dress that looks more like a slip than a formal gown. Your dress could not be more elegant. Simply lovely.
Hm…. I will See if I can scan one. No digital pics back then either!
