I hope you’ll bear with me. I’m into the last two weeks of school, and getting Christopher ready for his First Holy Communion, so blogging is rather light right now.
I will say, though, that Christopher is SO excited about this weekend! Other than his baptism, this is the biggest day of his life, and he is more than a bit awed by the fact that he’s actually going to be receiving Jesus on Sunday. Thomas is is bit jealous, and keeps saying that he wishes he could have HIS First Holy Communion, too… I just pray that they always have this desire to stay close to Jesus!
Unfortunately, no one will be able to come and see his big day. It makes me sad, but hopefully we’ll be able to “do it up right” anyway with a celebration at home. We’re so proud of him!!!
Too bad we weren’t invited 😉

Wow. Last two weeks of school. We have just started second term for the year.
Congratulations to Christopher. The day will be very special and I hope it becomes one of your favourite memories. I can remember my first communion still.
Well, our school year runs from June 1st to May 31st, so actually we’re behind schedule (I normally like to finish up in April, but it just didn’t happen this year).
I wish I could say that I remember all the details of my First Holy Communion, but unfortunately the details are a bit fuzzy. Hopefully Christopher will be better than I am!
Hurrah! We just celebrated my daughter’s First Communion. Our prayers are with your son on this great sacrament!
